Buy-Back Success Stories
DFW Distribution Center
Paying $400/month for dumpster rental to dispose of surplus boxes from inbound shipments.
Now earns $250/month through our buy-back program. Net improvement: $650/month.
Auto parts manufacturer
Accumulated 200+ gaylords annually from incoming raw materials with no disposal plan.
Sells gaylords back at $8-12 each. Annual revenue: $2,000+ from what was previously waste.
Retail store chain (3 locations)
Each location generated 100+ boxes per week from receiving. Boxes were stacked in back rooms, creating clutter and fire hazards.
Weekly pickups at each location. Clean facilities, zero disposal costs, and $300/month in buy-back revenue.
Preparing Materials for Buy-Back
Flatten Boxes When Possible
Flattened boxes are easier to count, stack, and load. This helps us provide faster service and better quotes.
Sort by Size If You Can
Separating boxes by size helps us grade and price more accurately. Consistent lots of the same size earn the best rates.
Keep Materials Dry
Store surplus boxes indoors or under cover. Wet or moldy boxes lose value significantly and may not be accepted for reuse (though they can still be recycled).
Remove Excessive Tape
While some tape is fine, heavily taped boxes take more processing time. Remove excess tape when practical to improve your rate.
Stack Pallets Neatly
Stack pallets of the same size together. This makes loading faster and allows us to inspect more efficiently.
Buy-Back Questions
Is there a minimum quantity for buy-back?
No minimum for scheduled customers. For one-time pickups, we typically ask for at least 50 boxes or 10 pallets to justify the trip. Smaller quantities are welcome at our walk-in location.
How quickly do I get paid?
Payment is processed within 3-5 business days of materials being received and verified. For recurring customers with established accounts, payment terms can be customized.
Do you pick up on weekends?
Saturday pickups can be arranged for large orders. Standard pickup scheduling is Monday through Friday during business hours.
What if my boxes are too damaged to reuse?
We still accept damaged corrugated for recycling. While the rate is lower than reusable boxes, you still earn more than paying for dumpster disposal. We divert even damaged materials from landfills.
Can I set up a recurring buy-back schedule?
Yes, and this is how most of our buy-back customers operate. We set up weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly pickup routes so you never have to worry about surplus accumulation.
